Laura’s Blog Update No. 19

Portland, OR.  Home sweet home! We had a great run up the West Coast and now we’re finally catching our breath.  Thank you so much to everyone who came out and supported us at our shows.  It was a meaningful, exhausting and successful tour.  Stay tuned for European summer and US fall dates! Love, Laura and The Hall of Flames

I saw you in Oxford, and loved every minute, every part of the concert. Then i have followed the tour via the blog and have felt like a small part of the whole thing. I have followed the broadcasts, and bought the beautiful music book, tried to play some of the music and have gradually begun to understand how the amazing sound of July Flame and its songs has been made. As well as growing into music that I enjoy intensely and unfailingly every time I hear it, this whole thing has been an amazing learning experience about music. You are exceptionally talented. I really look forward to you coming back to the UK, and wish you a wonderful time in the next few months with your baby.

Hi Laura and the Hall Of Flames.
I saw you in Bristol on the Thekla. I have been following the tour via the web site and the blogs.

I have all you albums now and a high quality t-shirt and July Flame music book. Thank you for signing Troubled By The Fire for me. I have been lending you cd’s to my friends and have some more to see you when you return. They all comment about you wonderful thought evoking lyrics that sent you on a journey into your mind

Thank you all for a brilliant night and I am sure everyone who saw you on the tour appreciate the hard work you all put in. Being pregnant does not stop you doing what you believe in.

Have a chill time till the baby arrives. You have earned the rest.

Will all look forward to see you again

Any plans for a Canadian leg this summer? Lots of people in Calgary would love to see you play… maybe at the Folk Festival?
